American Opera Scenes: A Concert for 9/11 - Little Opera Theatre of NY (New York, NY)

The concert will feature music by Carlisle Floyd, William Grant Still & Virgil Thomson; with words by Langston Hughes, Verna Arvey, and Gertrude Stein. The scenes are drawn from the history of the Americas both historical and fictional including Huey Long, Jean-Jacques Dessalines and Susan B. Anthony.
